79360 Sila-Nunam is a cold classical Kuiper belt object (cubewano) and binary system made up of components of almost equal size, called Sila and Nunam, orbiting beyond Neptune in the Solar System. Sila-Nunam was discovered on 4 February 1997.

Sometimes green dogs are not a side effect of those funny mushrooms... they can be real. Green canines started appearing on the streets of Podolsk, a city near Moscow, a few weeks ago.

Seeing as how the animals were spotted on the premises of a local chemical plant, the likely cause for their change of color is attributed to chemicals that could've been stored in one of the abandoned warehouses. An investigation has been launched into this separate discovery.

Rangiora commuters had an interesting Tuesday morning after an independent-minded dog joined them on the bus.

An Orangutan has been seen sharing a giant giggle after being shown a magic trick in a zoo. A man holds a polystyrene cup up to the glass of the monkey's enclosure, and shows him putting what seems like an un-ripened chestnut inside. He then proceeds to put a lid on the cup, shake it and place it back in front of the glass.

Radamenes was only two months old when he had brought in last year in terrible shape. He was suffering a serious respiratory infection and vets thought they would have to put him down.
But one day Radamenes began to purr, so the vets took that as a sign that he wanted to live and opted to give him treatment. Luckily, Radamenes recovered. And now he has taken it upon himself to restore the health of his fellow furry friends.

A baby boy not older than 12 weeks has been found in a box on a staircase in an apartment block in the Russian town of Obninsk. The box was meant for a cat, who — after having found a new soul in misery, warmed up the baby and was worried to let him go.

The baby in the cat box was discovered by one of the neighbors, who had heard what she thought to be loud meowing and rushed to rescue the cat from possible offenders.
The furry feline has been living in the apartment block for three years, fed and petted by its residents. The day when she found an unexpected guest in her box was a freezing one, but the baby was very warm, according to the woman, who first discovered the abandoned boy. "She has been keeping the baby warm for several hours and meowing to call for help," she told Ruptly video agency.

1997 CS29/79360 Sila-Nunam is a double classical Kuiper belt object (cubewano) with components of almost equal size, orbiting beyond Neptune in the Solar System. The name of the system is the combined names of the two bodies, Sila and Nunam.
Sila-Nunam was discovered on 4 February 1997 by Jane X. Luu, David C. Jewitt, Chad Trujillo, and Jun Chen at the Mauna Kea Observatory, Hawaii. It was resolved as a binary system in Hubble observations of 22 October 2002 by Denise C. Stephens and Keith S. Noll and announced, under the designation S/2005 (79360) 1, on 5 October 2005.
The two components are named after Inuit deities. Sila "spirit" is the Inuit god of the sky, weather, and life force. Nunam "earth" is the Earth goddess, in some traditions Sila's wife. Nunam created the land animals and, in some traditions, the Inuit people (in other traditions Sila created the first people out of wet sand). Sila breathed life into the Inuit.
